WHO ARE WE?

The National Company of Structural Steel and Boiler Making "ENCC Spa" is the heir to industrial know-how originating from two major historic workshops:

- NEYRPIC-AFRIQUE workshops, established in 1942 by the companies NEYRET-BELIER and PICARD-PICTET (today the ENCC Hydromechanical & Lifting Unit / Côte Rouge).

- CARMELLI workshops, founded in 1953 (today the ENCC Construction & Metallic Fabrication Unit / Blida).

On June 12, 1968, as part of the nationalization process, these companies were integrated into the National Metals Company (S.N.METAL), marking a new era for the national metallurgical industry.

In 1983, a restructuring of S.N.METAL led to the creation of several specialized companies, including ENCC. At its founding, ENCC had nine (09) production units, allowing it to establish itself as a major player in the sector.

Since then, ENCC has continued to evolve, and today it operates eight (08) manufacturing and industrial assembly units, combining technical expertise and innovation to meet the needs of the national industry.

In November 2024, the Imetal Group was renamed the National Steel Company, thus recalling SNS, the foundation of Algeria’s steel industry..

The National Company of Steel Structures and Boilerwork – ENCC Spa is currently a subsidiary of the National Steel Company “Holding SNS”. A national leader in the metallurgical industry for over 80 years, ENCC Spa has eight (08) specialized units dedicated to engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance of industrial equipment, as well as executing EPC projects across most industrial sectors.
